Kara & Austin's Elegant Wedding at the Stone Crest Venue in McKinney, TX

I couldn't be more in love with a couple's photos and vibe.

I met Kara, Austin, and their beautiful dog on a sunny day at the top of Tandy Hills for their Engagement Session. They watched me struggle with high winds and uneven ground and stayed so incredibly joyful and kind that I instantly fell in love with them. After that day I was counting down the days to their wedding right alongside them! And it finally came!!!

Kara and Austin got married at the beautiful Stone Crest Venue in McKinney. The day was cloudy, and quite cold for a Texas April Wedding. But even so the smile on their faces, and the smile in the crowd kept all of us warm. I got pulled right into their ceremony, photographing all their emotions, trying to fill my camera with all the warmth and joy they had to share.

The Reception was so incredibly beautiful too! From those soft blue and white tones of their decor, to the warm wooden tones of the Wedding Venue, and even an incredible cake with the cutest puppy cake toppers! They handed out cowboy hats to the audience, celebrated, and danced the night away.

It's nights like these that make me so grateful to still be a Wedding Photographer. Kara and Austin's love was a dream to photograph, their smiling faces, their quiet moments, their excitement, their nervs, all of it was such a beautiful story.
